Danisense and ZES ZIMMER partner for DC meters
Danisense has announced a partnership with ZES ZIMMER to deliver highly accurate, stable DC meter test systems. Comprising the Danisense DS600 current sense transducer paired with the LMG600 power analyser from ZES ZIMMER, the system is already being used by renowned German standards organization, VDE, to calibrate and certify DC meters used in EV charging stations which are proliferating as consumers switch to electric cars.

Danisense has launched its ultra-stable, high-precision DP series of PCB-mount current transducers for isolated DC and AC current measurement up to 72A. With a footprint of 64.9x60mm, a height of 32mm and light weight of 250g, this compact device is suitable for 1U power supplies and other space-constrained applications.
Danisense opens DC calibration test lab
A DC calibration test lab has been established by Danisense at its Danish headquarters and manufacturing site in Taastrup. A free service for its high voltage 500V and 10,000V products, units are 100% tested and shipped with a Certificate of Calibration which details the actual current error (always significantly less than the ppm values specified in the datasheet), the error without offset and the linearity error.
Sensor family aids power measurement accuracy
National Instruments (NI) says it has selected Danisense products as its preferred current measurement sensor family for use with its RM-269994-channel power measurements conditioner. The Danisense DS50UB-10V, DS200UB-10V, DS600UB-10V and DS2000UB-10V current transducers features high accuracy, high bandwidth and low phase shift which are key requirements for accurate power measurement.
Current transducers provide immunity to magnetic fields
Danisense has announced that its current transducers have been used by teams at CERN as part of a significant upgrade programme. The Danisense zero-flux DC current transducers (DCCT) are used in the design of QTRIM power supplies for the PS booster accelerator which are part of a chain of accelerators that inject the beam into the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics.
