Panel PC meets host of smart building applications

ARBOR Technology (UK) has expanded its range of ultra-slim line Panel PCs with the launch of the LYNC-708. With features including a flexible modular design, low power consumption and ultra-slim dimensions, the PC can handle a multitude of deployments within the “smart building” including applications within air conditioning, fire detection, lighting, parking, energy management, access control and building management systems.

Powered by Intel Atom N2600 processor, the PC features an 8in TFT LCD display with XGA resolution. The IP65 compliant flush front panel gives the unit exceptional protection from dust and liquids, whilst for greater functionality the PC is equipped with Brightness Control and a Flexible Modular Design. With the Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, the PC can reduce the costs associated with cabling and enable installation in even remote locations. For enhanced reliability the it has a maintenance-free fanless design and is equipped with Anti-spark Power Circuit.

In addition to the 8in LYNC-708, Arbor Technology (UK) also offers a full range of other ultra-slim line Panel PC products including 12in and 15in variants. All Arbor Panel PC are fanless, modular, panel computers, built around high performance core logic, using high brightness TFT LCD displays, multimedia and networking components and user-friendly touch screens, all packaged in rugged and compact chassis. Designed with state-of-the-art technology, these systems are powerful compact space savers for a very broad line of applications ranging from point-of-sales and point-of-information to machine control and health care.
