Fujitsu Laboratories, has shown the capability of the Digital Annealer to maximise the performance of magnetic devices essential for renewable energy harvesting and other uses. The application of Fujitsu's next-generation architecture allows for the nearly instantaneous calculation of the optimal arrangement of multiple planar (2D) magnets to maximise the strength of the magnetic field in a device.

Biogas solutions unit to speed up adoption of clean fuels
The technology group Wärtsilä has further strengthened its commitment to environmental sustainability with the formation of Wärtsilä Biogas Solutions. Wärtsilä Puregas Solutions, specialists in biogas upgrading technology, is now merged with Wärtsilä’s biogas liquefaction team, a unit with expert capabilities in liquefying upgraded biogas for end-customer use.
