Optimised for battery pack connections rated from 50 to 400A using a touch-safe interface, Amphenol has released a high current cabling system designed to meet the needs of energy storage for commercial and residential battery storage systems, as well as EVs and HEVs.

Suited for use by inverter and power supply manufacturers, SurLok Plus' flexible design accommodates dimensional constraints and its low profile, right angle RADSOK pin and socket connector is extremely space efficient. It can be provided in an unsealed configuration or IP67-rated, giving excellent environmental sealing to protect the system from the elements.

SurLok Plus uses patented RADSOK contact technology to significantly increase amperage whilst reducing insertion force, temperature rise and voltage drop. RADSOK contacts provide a large contact area, while utilising the tensile strength properties of the flat, high conductivity alloy grid for the high normal forces required for conductivity.
