An 80A PIM for demanding UPS, industrial variable frequency drives and solar inverter applications has been released by ON Semiconductor at PCIM. The NXH80T120L2Q0PG is configured in 1200V, 80A half-bridge and 600V, 50A neutral point clamp T-type topology, attaining efficiencies in excess of 98%.

The NXH80T120L2Q0PG PIM uses the company’s proprietary Trench Field Stop II technology and rugged, fast recovery diodes. It is suitable for demanding UPS, industrial variable frequency drives and solar inverter applications.

The module is configured in 1200V, 80A half-bridge and 600V, 50A neutral point clamp T-type topology, and has efficiencies in excess of 98%. The configurable package uses high-power Direct-Bonded-Copper (DBC) substrate technology and proprietary press-fit pins.

The PIM is qualified for reliability at junction temperatures of +175°C. It is available in Q0PACK packages (measuring 65.9x32.5x11.75mm).
