Hall-effect current sensors measure up to 200 & 300A

Suitable for use in PV inverters, frequency converters or power supplies for welding applications, HARTING has enhanced its range of Hall-effect current sensors with two high-current models. The models are only half the size and weight of previous versions and operate over a wider temperature range from -40 to +85°C, allowing them to be deployed in thermally critical applications.

Offering primary current measurements at up to 200 and 300A, respectively, the sensors use the closed-loop measurement principle, which provides a direct representation of the primary current with an accuracy of up to ±0.5%.

Capable of measuring both direct and alternating currents, as well as signals with complex waveforms, the Hall-effect current sensors operate over a frequency range from 0 to 100kHz. The devices provide high resistance to interference from magnetic fields generated by external current-carrying conductors.

The sensors come in a range of standard sizes and their compact construction offers a high degree of freedom for integration into individual applications.
