Unirac, Inc., debuted the new ISYS Single Axis Tracker at the Solar Power International (SPI) trade show opening today at the Dallas Convention Center. Available immediately for order at a highly competitive price, it is the most robust and versatile ground mount tracker system on the market today, able to work with any space or module system. Unirac backs the ISYS Tracker with the industry-leading 20-year structural performance warranty.
“The module-agnostic ISYS Tracker perfectly complements Unirac’s product line, reinforcing our position as a single source for solar infrastructure needs,” said Juan Suarez, Unirac’s senior director of engineering and program management. “In conversations with EPCs, utilities and solar integrators, we identified a distinct need for a higher-load capacity tracker requiring fewer foundation installations and offering quick assembly and reduced maintenance. Our confidence in our engineering allows Unirac to accompany the ISYS Tracker with an industry-leading 20-year warranty.”

Designed for large-scale solar installations, the ISYS Single Access Tracker brings Unirac’s reputation for engineering excellence and innovative design to an increasingly savvy solar market. It works with any standard solar modules, providing a flexible, highly versatile tracking solution for solar arrays. As with many of Unirac’s other products, the ISYS Tracker allows for module pre-assembly. Optimized for quick construction, there is no field fabrication required and minimal foundation installations are needed. With up to 20 modules fitting on each foundation — four times that of competing solutions — building time and materials are noticeably reduced

The ISYS Tracker is made with highly durable structural tubes that reduce material costs and enhance structural integrity. This combination of strength and design enables the ISYS Tracker to withstand up to 25 psf of snow and 120 mph winds while GPS and tilt sensors ensure a precise and unparalleled tracking system. It’s also resistant to corrosive environments, further protecting its functionality and increasing return on investment for buyers. Standard bearings have been replaced by a no-maintenance, long-life sleeve/bushing to ensure parts performance over the long haul. The ISYS Tracker’s simple, off-the-shelf hydraulic actuation system, featuring one hydraulic drive per 50kW, delivers the highest level of durability and reliability available on the market today.
