SEMA Announces PV Module Recycling Meeting and Roundtable Discussion on Issues Affecting the PV Industry

SEMA announces a meeting to discuss the recycling of PV modules, scheduled to take place Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Wyndham Hotel on North First Street in San Jose, CA. The program will consist of a presentation by Bill McGeever, Vice President of Operations, ECS Refining, about recycling options and methodologies for PV modules.

ECS Refining is a full-service recycling and end-of-life services company. The waste generated by end-of-life PV modules is expected to reach more than 20,000 tons in the next 10 years with PV module recycling expected to play an increasing role, including designing PV modules for recyclability. This presentation will be followed by a roundtable discussion of issues in the PV industry and how SEMA can help to address them.

Dinner and drinks will be served at 6 p.m., and the meeting will be finished by 8 p.m.
