Spectrum's 12 bit A/D converter card uses only one ADC per channel
Spectrum's M3i.3240 monolithic 12 bit A/D converter card uses only one ADC per channel with no interleaving guarantees best signal quality. Compared to 8 bit digitisers this card has 16 times higher resolution and an outstanding SNR of 63 dB at 1 V range.
Portable Measurement System with two free slots
With the SPPortA2, Spectrum has enhanced its range of system solutions around the main product area of measurement cards. Customers, seeking for a complete system solution, now have an additional choice besides an individual PC solution and a Docking solution for Laptops.
More memory for fast A/D and D/A cards
The on-board memory size is one of the key features of fast A/D and D/A cards. When using slow sampling rates in the area of kHz or a few MHz data can normally be stored online in the PC memory without big problems. But when using higher sampling rates one needs a big on-board memory to store data on the card.
Differential 105 MS/s Digitizer
Most high-speed digitizers on the market have GND related single-ended inputs as a standard. But for some applications where noise induction may be a problem the connection of differential signals is a must. Focussed on these applications, the German manufacturer SPECTRUM has extended its range of fast 12 bit digitizers.
8 channel 25 MS/s A/D available as PCI and PCI Express
The German manufacturer Spectrum offers for the first time a fast multi channel data acquisition card for all current PC bus systems. The 9 different versions of the M2i.31xx series are available for the same price as either a PCI/PCI-X version or a PCI Express version.
PCI Express Arbitrary Waveform Generator up to 125 MS/s
Spectrum is one of the first manufacturers world-wide to release a full product series of Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWG) for the PCI Express bus. The new product series is 100% software compatible to the PCI cards of the M2i series of the manufacturer and also uses the same analog modules. The AWG family contains 10 different models with 1 to 4 synchronous channels and sampling rates up to 125 MS/s. Each card can run as freely programmable s...
Synchronous Systems with more than 1000 channels
When doing large experiments such as in physics research as well as in production tests, there is often the need to acquire a large number of channels simultaneously. Proprietary systems are often expensive, can only be extended by the components of one manufacturer and in many cases complicated to program. CAMAC (Computer Automated Measurement And Control) based systems are a possible solution though rather intended for more slow acquisition a...
Laptop-based mobile Instrumentation
Based on the Docking Station product line from Magma Mobility Electronics Inc. the complete test & measurement product line of Spectrum is now mobile. Using one of the available Docking Stations with 1, 2 or 4 slots any of the PC instruments of the M2i series of Spectrum can be plugged-in. This combination allows the use of Digitizers up to 500 MS/s, A/D cards starting with 100 kS/s on 16 synchronous channels, Arbitrary Waveform Generators and Di...
LabVIEW drivers for M2i card series from Spectrum
Spectrum GmbH announces the availability of complete new designed LabVIEW drivers for the range of fast PCI/PCI-X card of the M2i series. This fourth generation of PC instruments contains digitizers starting with 16 channels, 16 bit resolution and 100 kS/s sampling rate up to versions with 12 bit resolution and 200 MS/s, arbitrary waveform generators (AWG) with up to 125 MS/s and digital I/O cards with up to 125 MS/s. The memory of these cards ca...
Windows Vista 64 Bit Support for PC Instruments
Spectrum GmbH has announced the availability of the new 64 bit Windows drivers (Windows Vista and XP) for its range of more than 70 PCI/PCI-X Digitizers, waveform generators and digital I/O cards. The state-of-the-art M2i card series can now be used under the 32 bit versions of Windows 2000, XP and Vista as well as Windows XP and Vista 64 bit. The M2i product range consists of digitizers starting with 16 channels, 16 bit resolution and 100 kS/s s...
